Kaizen Update 2
Winter Arcs seem to be a thing at the moment, the idea is to put you head down and focus on an important task or personal improvement over winter and be a better person come spring. Really it is just a marketing term to make you think it is a new idea and drive clicks as you realize it just rehashing existing ideas.
I do like the idea, it appeals. My life doesn't allow that it at the moment but gradual improvement, Kaizen, does seem to be paying off though and it's fun.
I have read most of a book on the Ruby programming languages. Where is this taking me? Well, I am not sure perhaps towards automating lots of things. Ruby-koans is now a work in progres.
I expected Zellij to be a great addition but I was not enjoying neovim as a shell editor. To combat this I took a look at the Zed editor. It's nice and very fast. Of course it breaks the use shell for everything but I am OK with that. The point of Kaizen is to follow the path of improvement and not be hold on to things that are holding you back.
Cutting back coffee has worked quite well. Drinking more than a few cups no longer feels nice. I feel calmer.
If you have read the above it sounds like someone who want to get things done. Really though it you look at it properly you might realize I am a bit directionless. I enjoy learning it is my procrastination technique, perhaps not as bad as YouTube or Netflix but directionless learning is not an efficient use of time.
Why do it? It is to help reform habits, making sure I make time for my self. Any direction is better than stationary as it can at least be nudged in the direction I want to go once I figure out that part.
